Examination
- At Abasyn Public School and College, we believe in a comprehensive assessment approach that not only evaluates students' academic progress but also fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and self-directed learning. Our assessment framework is meticulously designed to provide students with diverse opportunities to showcase their knowledge and skills across different formats and platforms.
- Term Examinations:
- Throughout the academic year, we conduct three termal examinations, including the first, second, and final term exams. These exams serve as significant milestones, allowing students to demonstrate their understanding of the syllabus covered during specific periods. The termal exams provide a comprehensive assessment of students' knowledge, understanding, and application of concepts across different subjects.
- Monthly Tests and Assignments:
- In addition to term exams, we arrange monthly tests and home-based assignments to ensure continuous assessment and reinforcement of learning. Monthly tests consist of 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a bubble sheet provided for responses. These tests cover the syllabus up to the respective week and carry a weightage of 20% in the final grade. Home-based assignments comprise four subjective questions, including three based on specific learning objectives (SLOs) and one definition and explanation-type question. The syllabus for assignments typically covers two chapters. Both monthly tests and assignments are submitted online via our Learning Management System (LMS) platform, with a submission deadline provided for each assessment.
