Oath Taking Ceremony and Explanation of rules and regulations
At Abasyn Public School and College, we recognize the importance of regular attendance for academic success and the overall well-being of our students. As such, we have implemented the following policy regarding leave and absences:
Attendance Requirement: Regular attendance is mandatory for all students enrolled at Abasyn Public School and College. Students are expected to attend all classes, examinations, and other academic activities as scheduled by the institution.
Absence Notification: In the event of an unavoidable absence, students or their guardians are required to notify the school administration as soon as possible, providing a valid reason for leave.
Consequences of Absenteeism: One unexcused absence will result in the student being considered for striking off from the school rolls. This decision is made to maintain the integrity of our educational environment and ensure that students are fully committed to their academic responsibilities.
Re-Admission Procedure: If a student is struck off the school rolls due to absenteeism, they must follow the re-admission procedure to resume their studies at Abasyn Public School and College. This procedure includes:
- Admission Fee Payment: The student or their guardian must pay the admission fee as per the institution's fee structure.
- Admission Form Completion: The student must fill out the admission form with updated information and provide any necessary documentation.
- Signing Affidavit: The student or their guardian must sign an affidavit affirming their commitment to ensuring the student's regular attendance and academic engagement in the future. This affidavit serves as a formal acknowledgment of the student's responsibility towards their education.
Review Process: The decision to strike a student off the school rolls due to absenteeism will be reviewed by the school administration on a case-by-case basis. Exceptional circumstances may be considered, but students are encouraged to prioritize their attendance and academic commitments.
Appeals Process: Students or their guardians have the right to appeal the decision to strike off from the school rolls due to absenteeism. The appeal should be made in writing to the school administration, providing any relevant evidence on the affidavit to support the appeal.
